Hazel Cottage is a beautiful, semi-detached holiday lodge, set alongside a similar holiday home in the grounds of the owner's home, 2 miles from Belper. With one super king-size double bedroom (with the option to be converted into twin beds on request), plus a luxury bathroom with separate shower, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove, this is an excellent base for a couple. Bi-fold doors open onto the private patio area, and there are shared lawns with a unique Arctic lodge with BBQ area, shared with the two properties (with a bag of charcoal - one visit per booking, on a first come, first served basis - please contact owner directly to book), adding luxury to your stay.

Whether booked on its own or alongside its neighbour, Hazel Cottage promises a wonderful stay.

We decided to have Christmas away on our own for the first time in 56 years . Hazel cottage is wonderful, a very friendly welcolme from Nick who explained everything to us. A bottle of prosecco tin of chocolates & biscuits with milk in the fridge were very acceptable. The cottage was spotless, with everything you need. A really comfy bed & soft pillows . Peace & quiet was lovely with squirrels running about & birds singing . There is a good pub just down the road with excellent food (The Black Boy) & a shop 5 mins up the road . Perfect for many attractions within an easy drive or a good bus service . Definitely worth 5 stars & a gold award .

A very relaxing holiday in a wonderful cottage, with the comfiest bed and the softest bedding I have ever slept in. Attention to detail was excellent, we will definitely be visiting again.

A fantastic holiday cottage. The cottage was in excellent condition, the location was a great base to tour the Peak District and the owners were extremely helpful.

The Cottage is really lovely and tastefully furnished. It would be difficult to find a better holiday home. If we had to give a rating between 1 - 10, we would give it a 10+.

Hazel Cottage has everything to make your stay very enjoyable. It is very spacious, modern and clean, with a lovely comfortable bed.
