Beautiful house
Very comfortable house suitable for a large family hot tub lovely nice views would stay again there was a problem with washing machine but a being compensated for that as it was broken a new one has been fitted now but too late for us as was a bank holiday week .only thing I would say Is towels provided were a bit small so if you like bath sheets take your own all in all a fabulous house home from home .

Avoid if don't want to be charged extra!!!!
Had a lovely weekend away with ladies celebrating a special birthday. The cottage was in a great location, had great facilities and the weather was brilliant. However, on return I received an email claiming for £84 as was told the cottage needed a 'deep clean' after our stay. The points raised by them * We left the outside bin too full * The white bedding had marks * The white bath towels were marked * The oven had grease * Apparently crockery was missing * The hot tub water had turned colour I seriously question the time on which these cleaners claim. The bin was half full on our arrival but we did as we were told in that all rubbish to be placed in the outside bin. So we were getting negative feedback for emptying the bins??. After 4 days with 10 people in the house they were expecting clean white towels and bedding???. We cooked in slowcookers whilst there, using the grill once for a bacon sandwich. The grill pan was washed in the dishwasher but think I was expected to take my marigolds and oven cleaner too!!. We did shifts with brews because of the amount of crockery on arrival but it wasn't anything that was going to ruin our weekend. As for the hot tub.. again after 4 days with 10 people in and out of it the water had turned colour and it needed a clean... would this not be practice before renting out to new customers anyway. I did suggest an outside shower and exfoliate before entering as it seems this may solve what the owners expect. There is no handover with this property literally just a key in a fob so looking back now we should have taken photos on arrival and departure as the way they've written to us you'd have thought they had squatters in after us. I won't let it spoil a brilliant weekend away I had with my family and friends, however, after working in travel for over 20 years and owning my own agency, I would not recommend it. I have stayed in numerous properties UK, Europe and Worldwide and have never had such crazy remarks after a stay ....all for extra money. This house is great if you just want to sit in a room and not touch anything during your stay otherwise you'll be charged for a deep clean. Stayed in plenty of other cottages around and will be revisiting those that have no come back on return that's so insulting!!!.
