Cottage Val is a stone built, converted barn with a high-quality finish throughout. The property has two double bedrooms, both of which have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is a fitted kitchen with a ceramic hob, dining table and chairs plus bar stools.
The open-plan, spacious living room has a pitched roof, feature light fitting, cosy woodburning stove and Freeview TV. Outside, you have direct access to the disused railway line, known as Cinder Track, plus there's ample off-road parking. Cottage Val is a stylish and comfortable property to relax and unwind in, whilst being in close proximity to both the National Park and coast, making it the perfect base to explore the varying and beautiful landscape Yorkshire has to offer.

Perfect and very Pet-friendly.
The photos do not do justice to this idyllic property, which caters for all your needs if you want peace and quiet, you can enjoy the coastal view from the patio at rear of cottage. "Cottage Val" is off the beaten track and has great walks, the "Cinder track" (Old railway line Scarborough to Whitby) runs along the back of this cottage, which is a lovely walk.
It has a lovely log burner and also easy to adjust underfloor heating. We will definitely come back again.

A fantastic break
We had a fantastic time at Cottage Val. A beautiful location, lovely views, walks from the doorstep and so peaceful. The cottage itself was amazing, comfortable, well thought through and really relaxing. We couldn?t fault a thing!
