Too many faults unresponsive owner stay somewhere else
I didnt like the many faults with the property, some major some less so. The complete curtain pole fell down of the first night and despite reporting it first thing the following morning I heard nothing back , recontacted sykes the next day and said they would try to get in touch with owner . The curtain pole was fixed then the following evening but this meant two of our three nights without curtains the window was low and looked directly onto a main road. In addition to this there were no bulbs in either bedroom ceiling lights, took a bulb from the downstairs light to put in the bedroom and it gave a loud bang, probably faulty electrics to both bedroom ceiling hence why there were no bulbs in them had to rely on the bedside lamps, The wardrobe hinge to the main bedroom was hanging off which I fixed my self , the lamp in the lounge bulb not working. The bottom kitchen cupboard as others have reported was full off workmen's rubbish from fitting the kitchen and scissors were left broken in the knife cupboard. The second bedroom hadn't had the quilt covers put on when we arrived . Response from owners was too slow and not sufficient . The patio area was full of weeds and the furniture rusty , so not usable.

Gorgeous Little Cottage
Have really enjoyed our stay at East Stonelea Cottage. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Large comfy sofas, log burner, fabulous shower, fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need is here and dog friendly. Good base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Would highly recommend. Can?t wait to return. Gracie our bulldog loved it Thank you
