Fantastic stay at Holly farm cottage
Enjoyed a 7 night stay at Holly Farm Cottage in Buckton. On arrival the property was immaculate inside and there was an excellent welcome pack. Having stayed at a number of holiday cottages, this welcome pack was the best I?ve ever received, even including a lovely chocolate cake, a bottle of Prosecco and coffee for the cafeti?re. Two good sized off road parking spaces too. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay, especially in the kitchen. The summer house at the top of the garden is beautiful and the garden is well laid out with 2 patio areas. The lounge was extremely well presented as was the entire house. We were lucky to get great weather so didn?t use the lovely log burner. My 3 year old loved the ?holiday house?. The safety features for toddlers like the child lock on the kitchen sink cupboard were appreciated. Buckton is a lovely small village which is centrally located to travel to all the nearby destinations. The beach at fraisthorpe was beautiful and I?d recommend the Cow Shed cafe there. Filey worth a visit and the light house tearoom was lovely. My toddler enjoyed the land train at Bridlington and the model village. We also enjoyed a nostalgic trip on the steam train from Pickering to Whitby. This is a fantastic holiday home and we didn?t want to leave! We'll definitely be back. The owners Sharon and Mark contacted us before we arrived and were on hand via mobile and email if we needed them.
