Best holiday in such a long time
This i a truly wonderful barn conversion, absolutely stunning in every way. If your looking for a walking holiday the woods surrounding it are breathetaking and if you want to sit back and do nothing it's location allows you to do that too. It's immaculate in every way a real home from home. We booked this via Sykes cottage but they still haven't allowed us to leave feedback and we've tried dozens of times (shame on you Sykes). The owners Chris and Do are real gems who treat there guests exceptionally well without intruding on you holiday, we had such an amazing holiday at Zeal cottage

A lovely property and would thoroughly recommend.
The location was rural, so very quiet and peaceful. The owners, who live in an adjacent thatched cottage, met us on arrival and went through appliances, etc. as well as providing a book with a lot of information. Owners also provided a lovely welcome package, which was most appreciated. The house was spotless, the beds very comfortable, underfloor heating adjustable in each room and good hot showers. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Both bedrooms quite spacious. Rather modern interior but beams from the old mill building had been retained and gave atmosphere. As three adults we found plenty to do in the week we were there, including Exmoor and Dartmoor. There is also a public walking path accessible from the property. If we lived in England we would be back.
