A lovely, detached cottage set in the mature grounds of the owner’s home, this property offers high standard accommodation for up to three people.

This charming cottage is set in the grounds of the owner’s home and is a delight. It is furbished to a high standard and offers bright and welcoming accommodation. There is a beautiful south facing garden with a patio area, barbecue and furniture in which to enjoy this lovely spot.

The kitchen is well equipped and there is a dining area between the kitchen and sitting room, which is a cosy, bright and airy room with doors leading to the delightful patio. The bathroom is well appointed and has a shower over the bath. All of this combines to make this an ideal property from which to explore this stunning area.

It was in a fantastic position for a walking week in the sunshine. The cottage was cosy and welcoming especially the owner. All our needs were met, and if not the owner would, I am sure, try her best to provide.
Mrs Chapman

The cottage was well situated for the southern Peaks. The owner kindly presented us with a delicious sponge cake on arrival. The cottage was adequate for two, but neither heater in the lounge area worked. An engineer was found promptly, and he managed to mend one. The other one he said would have to be replaced. The kitchen equipment was not very complete and I was glad I had a small sharp knife in my picnic bag as there were only steak knives to cut things up with. Also the door to the freezer part of the fridge was broken. The heated towel rail in the bathroom had a mind of its own too. All in all, we enjoyed our week, because we managed to have three decent days walking, and the cottage was just about adequate for our needs and cheap.

We had a nice warm welcome from the owner. There were beautiful gardens to sit in and our privacy was respected. It was a wonderful homely cottage, very comfortable and clean with everything we needed in the cottage. The decor was well maintained and the bathroom quite inspiring. There was lovely countryside scenery and good walks close by, and plenty of tourist info in the cottage.

Excellent value for money. The kitchen was very well equipped and made self catering easy. The style was very homely and sizes of the rooms were very good considering the overall size of the cottage. It had great travel links to get into the Peak District and surrounding areas. The owner was lovely and very accommodating.
Mr Langthorne

Close to all amenities. Excellent for walking and cycling. Cottage was well equipped.
