Awesome scenery
We stayed here last week of August 2018. The drive into the valley was very pleasant and knew this place would be something different and special. Once we arrived our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Made us feel very welcome and there were cake, cookies and fresh eggs as welcome gift for us. As this cottage is based on working farm one is able to purchase fresh eggs from owners who live next door. We loved the cottage and had everything one would need. We had booked it for a week but wasn?t planning to stay full 7 days, but due to beautiful, peaceful and serene atmosphere of the valley and surrounding we decided to stay till the end. There were loads of toys such as mega blocks and board games etc to keep little ones entertained. Only constructive negative element would be I think kids play area need a revamp as swings were not there and weed was way too high for kids to enjoy. Overall we had awesome time and loved every moment we spent there enjoying lovely views. Would definitely recommend anyone thinking of booking this place.

Family holiday
This is truly a wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The cottage has everything you need and the owners are lovely. Can't fault it. If you want phone signal though you'll be disappointed but If you want to escape from it all this is your place to go.

Due to return for 3rd stay!
The surroundings of this cottage are simply some of the most stunning, breathtaking landscape we've ever seen and have the pleasure of waking up to every day. It is hard pushed to find somewhere so remote, so removed from the stress of modern day life and land in this cosy, warm cottage surrounded from sloping fields and gorgeous animals! There is something in the air here, we all sleep like logs - going for afternoon naps that turn into half day naps as it is so relaxing! The kids love it too- lots of lovely toys in the living room (with carpet so great for little crawlers!) and great outside playground too. Cant wait to return in April.

Our 4th visit to this Cottage
Situated between Ingleton and Dent, this cottage perfect for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday with lots of walks and interesting places to visit, including: White Scar Caves (20mins), Wensleydale Cheese Factory (50 mins) and the seaside at Morecambe (50mins). The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, a trampoline in the garden, and log burning fire in the lounge. Its 15 mins drive to Ingleton. We love this place!

Loved the remoteness and comfort plus the accessibility to the open moorland and sights. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Our kids hardly missed the internet at all and we enjoyed quality family time together.
