A quiet little gem of a cottage
Beautiful cottage, very clean and modern with everything you could need in the kitchen. Blu-ray DVD and a large larder fridge and big freezer which was very helpful. Ideal for a couple and 2 small kids. Peaceful at night, double bed was fantastic but upstairs twin beds very uncomfortable. A great little cottage which is only 5 minutes from the York Park and Ride and 20 minutes from a large shopping park including Tesco.

The cottage was excellent; nicely furnished and perfect for our needs. It was easy to find and in a lovely quiet area of countryside, but also just 15 minutes by car from York town centre. There was a beautiful walk out alongside the river. The deck at the back of the house, overlooking the fields, was a wonderful place for breakfast and also to relax on in the evenings. All the plates, cutlery and cooking utensils were in excellent condition, there were games in the cupboard and we wanted for very little.

A lovely holiday cottage. Very high standard and very comfortable. So near to park and ride to York and so easy.
Mrs Francis

The quality of the fixtures and fittings in the property was outstanding and the kitchen appliances seemed brand new and top of the line makes. I have stayed in many rental properties over the years and many places, but Laburnam Croft is far and away the best I have ever seen. This is the perfect base for visiting York and the North Yorkshire area and I intend staying there again in the near future.
Mr Bartlett

Laburnum Croft is in a very peaceful location, with views of unbroken countryside from the lounge and upstairs bedroom. We were able to relax completely when in the cottage. A perfect base to visit this historic city.
