This charming semi-detached cottage in Leven, Fife can sleep up to six people in three bedrooms.

Rockville is a semi-detached cottage on the beach front in Leven, Fife. The cottage has one king-size double bedroom on the first floor with an en-suite shower room, while the rest of the property is set on the ground floor. With two more twin bedrooms and a family bathroom the property can sleep up to six people.

There is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a warming gas fire. Underneath the property in a garage there is a pool table and a small gym while outside you will find off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking, lockable bike storage and a patio with furniture. Rockville is a wonderful base in Leven, perfect for exploring the east coast of Fife.

Far exceeded our expectations. A bit like a tardis. Quite unassuming from the front but once you get through the door you will not be disappointed. Huge bed in the front bedroom, fab kitchen, lovely chaise in the front room which we all fought over. The master bedroom looks over the beach and listening to the waves lapping is very soothing. Kids loved the freedom of going to the amusement arcade unaccompanied and body boarding on the tide. Great park and skate park down the road, shops, restaurants, pubs and supermarket within five minutes walk. Take a trip along the coast to Cellardyke and Anstruther- very pretty. House was very clean and well equipped. My one and only gripe is the back garden doesn?t get enough sun to dry the washing- but hey, who wants to do washing on holiday anyway. Re the parking. If you're lucky you can park out the front, or we parked alongside the wall out the back. You can leave your car in the car park over the road and move it when the daytime crowds have left and park more or less outside the property. We aim to book again and are even thinking of two weeks as there is just so much to explore within a couple of hours. And everyone is so friendly

Great place to stay!
Lovely cosy house. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of everything to cater for 6+. Very clean and comfortable. Owners left us welcome pack of milk, biscuits and wine, and soap/shower gel in the bathrooms. All basics in the kitchen eg washing up liquid, kitchen roll, bin bags. Beautiful views of the sea. Easily accessible beach and prom, right on the Fife Coastal Path. Shops and eateries a few minutes walk. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent Property
An exceptionally well furnished home. We opted to have all beds made up as doubles and enjoyed seven nights seamless sleep! The cottage has all the modern conveniences and the decor very tasteful. The beach is just across the road, and the supermarket is nearby. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely House / Facilities - Tiny Pool Table
We googled a cottage with pool table and this came up in the results for Sykes. Even though there were no photos showing the games room we still booked as we love playing pool when we are not out and about. Everything about this house is lovely and as described, however, the pool table is tiny, not the size of a pub pool table so we never used it. If you want a house with a pool table look elsewhere. If you're not bothered this is an excellent house and everything else was lovely...

SUPERB with a capital S
Absolutely fabulous, its 5 star. Sea and sands just across the road, supermarket round the corner, golf club do excellent meals. The little villages just around the coast are very picturesque.
