Lovely cottage
All things considered, this is a lovely little cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful and finished to a very high standard and is very well equipped. A lovely welcome basket is provided, ours had local high quality jams, bread and apple juice amongst other things that were lovely. A small amount of Milk and teabags etc were also provided. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. This cottage is very dog friendly and has a selection of lovely walks on the doorstep. Both bedrooms are large and well equipped with very comfy beds. The whole place was exeptionally clean. My only (small) criticism was that it stated that pubs were within walking distance- they aren?t really, there?s a small local hall that doubles up as a pub on Friday and sat night but I wouldn?t personally call it a pub! You can probably nip out for a drink or two but not a pub as such.. anything else is too far to walk and along quite treacherous roads to walk down, very small and narrow, especially in the dark. Also it said the hot tub would be drained and refilled during our stay and it wasn?t when we stayed for a long weekend, but not sure if they meant for longer stays. The hot tub is fresh water and fuelled with logs, was lovely the first night but without chemicals, could have done with freshening up after 3 days. There is also a limit on the WiFi which is chargeable which is not stated clearly in the ad. Other than that it is a lovely little place and I would definitely go again.

Mrs
Very relaxing and peaceful holiday in a lovely cottage. Everything you need, very spacious, clean high end furnishings and fabulous wood fired hot tub. The owners quick to sort out any problems not that there were many. Lovely welcome basket too. Great position and even walks from the cottage to a little waterfall. We will definitely return.

Total relaxation in a top class environment
The cottage is homely and fitted out to the highest standard. The owners are very approachable and charming and have ensured that the location is very dog friendly. Firing up the wood burning hot tub, sitting in it and enjoying the sight and sounds of the adjoining forest was a highlight of our stay. We were relaxed, the dog was relaxed and the surrounding area is beautiful. There was absolutely nothing not to like. Will we back? Yes!
