A beautiful cottage!
Stayed here with my boyfriend for a week to celebrate his birthday and we were amazed by the gorgeous location of this lovely cottage! The cottage was very cosy and we felt at home instantly. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit North Wales!

Fabulous 5 stars
First class cottage.. Very warm...loads of hot water.. Extremely comfortable beds..great shower etc..etc... The owners have thought of everything plus a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Everything you could need. Superb location for exploring North Wales.. Many thanks to Steve & Trina.

We have just returned from Y Ddraig Deg. I do not normally write reviews but I felt that with this particular cottage, it was necessary! What a fantastic holiday my family have just had. The property was rustic, clean, cosy with all mod cons. The little wood stove was lovely and really added to the ambience of the place. Tanygrisiau is a small village, but has a nice cafe by the lake. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a 3 minute drive away and has shops, cafes, takeaway etc. The surrounding countryside is very dramatic with craggy mountain peaks rising just behind Y Ddraig Deg. Loved it and will return. 10 out of 10..

This is an amazing holiday home hideaway! Beautifully renovated with original features. Solid fuel oven still in kitchen..........yes there is the modern electric one for cooking, Original fire, oven and woodburner in the lounge, electric heating throughout. Magnificent views from the bedrooms and front rooms, even in the rain the scenery is enchanting. Just 2 minute walk from a lakeside cafe with wild views, waterfalls, mountain railway station. Ideal based for walking, climbingcanoeing, paragliding, cross-country skiing. Central for north Wales tourist hotspots and Llyn Peninsula with golden beaches. We visited in winter and even on rainy days the cottage was cosy and area beautifully wild

Lovely property, each room with variable heating and plenty of hot water if needed. Beautifully clean and with most things that you would want to be available as a home from home. I would highly recommend this to others. A great location to explore the Snowdonia area.
