A detached stone cottage by the green in Beck Hole near Goathland, with two bedrooms accommodating four people.

Quoits Cottage is a lovely, detached stone cottage by the village green in Beck Hole, one mile from Goathland in the North York Moors National Park. The cottage is full of character, with original beams and features, and provides accommodation for groups of four in two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with twin beds, plus a bathroom. There is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburner.

The kitchen leads to a terraced rockery garden with a seating area on the top level and also on the ground level, so you can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the sunshine. There is also off road parking outside for two cars. Quoits Cottage is perfect for exploring this beautiful national park, with lots of walking trails nearby.

A gem of a cottage
Recently stayed here with my husband and 2 young children. We were blown away by the quality and cleanliness of the cottage. The location is wonderful in the enchanting Beck Hole and Goathland is a short walk away, manageable even with children! The cottage would be suitable for couples, all ages, families and anyone who would enjoy a rural location.

What a fabulous little cottage
Well... What can I say, looks tiny from the outside, but is infact a very large two bedroom cottage. Samantha our host provided an exceptionally well appointed self catering cottage. Bedding and towels were of good quality, kitchen had all the things needed to make dinner, breakfast or packed lunch. The cottage is immaculate, and as a regular user of self catering accommodation has to be one of the cleanest we've stayed in in the last 10 years. Get a booking placed, you won't regret it!

Superb cottage
Just leaving Quoits Cottage, sadly. The cottage is excellent, very well equipped and comfortable. Sam the owner could not have been more helpful and made our stay an experience to be remembered. When we arrived there were home made cakes and chocolates waiting as well as a fridge full of sandwiches and scones, it made you immediately feel at home. The area is very peaceful with a great friendly pub within two minutes walk, a walk we made a few times. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing break this cottage is a must. Ray & Sheila

Another fabulous stay
We have spent a week at Quoits Cottage for the second year running. Sam the owner remains passionate about ensuring that we had a fantastic holiday (and provides home cooked treats too!). The cottage is beautiful, clean and well equipped. Counting down till next year for trip number three!
