Fantastic home from home in a great location.
?This cottage was absolutely fabulous. Everything as described and more. There is also a washer dryer which was not stated on the website so this was a bonus as I travelled very light with just a cabin bag. Extra items in the cupboards-some clothes washing liquid, washing up liquid, salt.oil-little extras that possibly others left behind. We did the same-it always help the next person staying. Towels and tea towels provided and also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. hoover and mop etc too so no excuse not to clean up. The cooker took a bit of figuring out so we phoned the owner who is extremely helpful. I'm used to gas rather than electric so it took too much figuring out. Bottle of wine and some milk on our arrival along with a bunch of flowers. Tea and coffee had been left so we could have a much needed cuppa. Back garden very secluded and has washing line. Big pile of leaflets and maps in the lounge. We used Jacobite tours for Loch Ness and Happy Tours for a day to Glencoe There is a Wetherspoons in town and a few places with nightly music. I would definitely recommend this accomodation. It was a 15 minute walk into town for an average walker and 20 mins for me as I am a slow plodder. Lidl just up the road-5 mins walk-Aldi on the way to town-10 mins walk Property is easy to find on walking back from town-we walked everywhere. A bit noisy in the front bedroom on a Friday night but that is to be expected in the city. Nothing too bad. Do follow the River Ness on the side of the castle up to the "islands"-it is absolutely beautiful up there. (The sports centre and ice rink in same direction) Bus station in centre of town-costs ?4.50 to get from airport to town. We booked a taxi for our return though-£25-just in case that helps anyone.

Tolle, gut ausgestattete Wohnung, zentrumsnah

Great Location for city centre without the hustle and bustle.
Holiday home is located north of the River Ness however it is only a 15 minute walk into the city centre and the warm hospitality that the highland ?Capital? has to offer. Also close proximity to the Caledonian Canal with an Aldi, Lidl and Co-op close by too. Lovely clean, cosy and comfortable accommodation with one double and one twin room. Everything you needed had been provided - apart from tea towels which I feel was an oversight - such was the standard of other goods. There was tea and coffee available and some fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. A welcoming bottle of Prosecco and some lovely fresh flowers too. A nice touch. We had a wonderful week and had a couple of good friends joined us for a few days too. Highly recommended and hope to visit again in the future to explore more of this lovely Highland area of Scotland.

Home from home lovely walk into the city
Good location, we enjoyed being able to walk into town alongside the river. Had a nice meal at 'The waterfront' which is very close. Aldi, Lidl and co-op within 5 mins walk so shopping was easy. We also walked to the Merkinch nature reserve and a circular walk along Caledonian Canal and back along the Ness. It is an older building but inside is bright and modern. Good use of space and quality furnishings. Bathroom has underfloor heating. Had surprisingly good weather and were able to spend some time relaxing in the garden. Flowers, a pint of milk and a bottle of champagne were a lovely welcome.
