A very pleasant stay
Nicely situated , Felt very homely.close to beach as it is to the town, There are some steep steps to the beach but Scarbrough is noted for the hill parts of the town(area)

very central but the stairs were very steep
This house is in a very central location but needs to come with a warning for anyone who has mobility issues. The spiral stairs are very very steep and very narrow in parts. There is also a height issue on the top floor. My son and husband had to duck with the ceiling in parts. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable and could easily be remedied with cushions etc and you do get a lot of noise from the street as the front door opens into the living room. It is on a very noisy street at night although this may be holiday makers. It is well equipped with a large court yard and central to everything. Parking is first come first served via a card that you have to change everyday. The market hall is at the top of the street with a butchers, baker and fruit and veg. We did enjoy it but the stairs would probably put us off booking again

Home from home
We stayed at Tinsley cottage at short notice.from 7th July untill 14th.great location, lovely, homely feel holiday rental.very spacious, with everything thought of that you could possibly need on your stay.the bedrooms are very comfortable and clean,2 with onsuite shower room and the smaller room has access to its own shower room just across the landing.the bedrooms are over 3 floors.the kitchen has got all mod cons, even with a dishwasher.there's a large private enclosed garden at the back of of the property, with garden furniture and even use of a bbq.we would definitely go back to stay here.if I could give fault to one thing, that is the sofas in the living room should be changed and something more comfortable put in as the 2 existing sofas are hard bucket type 2 seater faux leather type.not something to relax on if you have been out all day walking.hence the reason for 4 and half star review,
