Peak District Self Catering cottage, Willow Cottage, Ashford-in-the-Water, sleeps 6

Just returned from cottage 5 night stay. we love PeK district have stayed various places, Ashford in the Water favourite village so lucky to get this fantastic riverside cottage. cottage warm, loved gas fire in lounge. Clean throughout, bedding very good, just wish a top sheet was supplied as often get too hot under duvet, but most places do the same. Bathroom very good lots of towels and handy downstairs loo. Bit of a worry cream carpets , looked great and hope we kept it clean. Garden pretty obviously early in season so not much colour yet but bet it's lovelly couple months time. swans and ducks greeted us each day.loved just looking out across the river seeing the sheep and often birds of prey swooping. Great location for two Pubs/eateries only went to the Bull this time. Did some great walking and lots of sitting too. Only couple of minor issues. Saucepans bit tired now non stick peeling off. No clean scoured or dish cloths and bit mean only 2 dishwasher tablets and tipsy bit of washing up liquid and no starter washing powder, these are little things but arriving late, our fault, bit annoying. All in all fabulous cottage and Thankyou for great memories.
