Comfortable & Well Situated
We spent a pretty damp week here in early September. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable, retaining lots of original features that give the place plenty of atmosphere. It also has plenty of modern amenities to make it an easy place to live in. It's warm thanks to modern heating, including underfloor in the kitchen. There are two log burners too, which we used and enjoyed the benefits of most evenings. Lots of tiny details added up to a well thought-out property which was a lovely home for a week. The cottage is located in the cobbled-streeted centre of Dent, which adds to the atmospheric experience. There are walks and cycle rides straight out of the door plus small towns and villages to explore in all directions. The scenery is amazing - we loved Kingsdale and Barbondale, but whichever direction you travel, you'll encounter stunning landscapes.
