Meander across the lane to the small green and get comfy on a bench while the kids play in the grass and soak up the almost Mediterranean feel found so close to the water, see the sunrise down The Straits to the Great Orme and witness the preparations of the Prince Madog Research vessel at the pier. Dylan's Restaurant is the waterfront dining experience found steps away on the corner, here you can order tasty pizzas and a classic dish of Welsh mussels with cream and cider, surrounded with independent, individual shops and cafes, not to mention plenty of pubs serving wonderful food a short stroll from the house.

Wander down along the Belgium Promenade and enjoy the ever-changing Menai Straits, while admiring engineering feat that is the Menai Suspension Bridge, discover more at the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum or for those who like a bit of an adrenalin rush catch a RibRide boat trip down The Straits. Take a picture of the famous place name sign at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, or take the kids to one of the fantastic attractions at Pili Palas Nature World or Anglesey Sea Zoo. Beaumaris is a historic town where you can visit the well-preserved Beaumaris Castle or old Town Gaol, wander over to Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour to sample the local sweet treats.
