The living areas in this traditional cottage include a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, and a dining table for six, a utility with fridge/freezer, washer and dryer, and a sitting room with a Smart TV, DVD player, and open fire. The bedrooms include a double with balcony, a double, and a twin, along with a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is a garden with a summer house and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars.

Within 200 yards, there is a shop and pub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Due to stream in garden and fast-flowing beck nearby, children must be supervised in the garden. Guests with limited mobility may find the traditional staircase difficult. Due to age of the property, there are some sloping floors on the first floor.

Burnside Cottage is a pretty Lakeland retreat for families, friends and couples to enjoy.
