Lovely Winter Break
This house is just beautiful and in a great location. Only about a 10 minutes walk to the centre of Thirsk. When we arrived we were so surprised to see a real Christmas tree in the bay window of the lounge - so kind of the hosts to do this. The whole house is spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the log fire and open coal fire. Lovely and cosy on a cold December evening. Will definitely visit again but probably in the spring or summer and will highly recommend Number 15 to family and friends.

A homely and relaxing stay in a beautifully decorated and furnished property
Number 15 is an absolute gem of a holiday cottage; immaculate, beautifully decorated, spacious and generously equipped, with lots of thoughtful extra touches from the owners. The beds were super comfortable and being in a cul - de - sac meant we had a very peaceful night's sleep. We loved the sun trap garden with its lavender and honeysuckle, which was just starting to flower during our stay. Thirsk is a lovely town and a really convenient base to enjoy the beauty of the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales, York and Whitby. It was great to be only a few minutes walk from the market square for an evening meal. We ran out of time to do everything we would have liked but this has whetted our appetite for Thirsk and North Yorkshire, we'll definitely be back.
