Great birthday surprise
My wife booked a surprise 3 night stay in The Nook to mark my milestone birthday. The quality of the fittings, the layout of the site and the information available for the surrounding area was spot on. There was even a fully decorated Christmas tree, which was a lovely touch. We have 2 dogs and this lodge is one of the dog friendly ones - I thought the charge of £40 for each dog was a bit steep, but you know that when you book, so it's not a hidden cost.
My wife arranged for a grocery delivery in addition to an initial supply from the local shop - so you don't need to bring that much with you.
My only feedback would be to have larger bath robes (aim for Sumo wrestler size) and a small shelf in the en-suite shower would be useful for shower gel etc.
The hot tub on the decking was fantastic and we used it each evening, even after it snowed on the Saturday.
