This impressive manor house in Pentraeth on Anglesey sleeps up to sixteen people in six bedrooms.

Tan y Graig Hall is a wonderful wing of a manor house just moments walk from the beach at Pentraeth on Anglesey. The property is packed with character, from the banqueting table in the panelled hallway to the original music room which is now the welcoming sitting room. There is a room with games console and bean bags, ideal for the children, and an external games room with table tennis.

The six bedrooms include two with en-suites and one with a four poster bed. The main bathroom has a characterful roll top bath for relaxing in style. Outside is ample off road parking and one and a half acres of parkland grounds to enjoy, plus the beach is an easy stroll.

Tan y Graig Hall makes a wonderful base for a memorable family holiday on beautiful Anglesey.

RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Lovely location, substandard accommodation
Impressive location, terrible accommodation 761160920 We booked Tan Y Graig Hall in Pentraeth on Anglesey through Sykes Cottages, based on the information and photos on their site and as a getaway with our family. It is an impressive looking property in a lovely location, ideal for beach walks and a handy base for exploring the Island. However, the photos on the site (which were probably taken more than 5 years ago) show a shabby chic property but, in reality, it is shabby and dirty. There are many reviews on Sykes website from 2019 which highlight that the place needs some TLC, is in disrepair and with a helpful list of items/areas of the house that need to be looked at, from light fittings that don't work to broken kitchen chairs, and this is still the case in 2020. We were the first visitors since lockdown and, given the current climate, you might expect that it would have had a deep clean. It was filthy. We had to brush and mop floors, wash down surfaces and wash all the crockery. The kitchen is like something you would find in student digs from the 90s. A fridge/freezer with no trays or shelves on the door because they?ve all been broken. A cooker with knobs that don't align and markings worn off so it's like the Krypton Factor working out how to operate it, cobwebs everywhere, cupboards that don't shut, a bin without a lid, just a grubby little place. We wiped down the lounge sofas to remove the stains, we couldn?t face fishing out all the detritus down the sides of the seats but found a bounty of rubbish under the seating (see photo). The bedrooms are an improvement on the downstairs areas but it is a very low bar. I could say more about the scalding hot water, the lack of information about how anything works, the temperamental front doors, but you get the gist. The situation was bad enough for us to cut our holiday short and leave a day early to return to the comforts of home. Sykes should not be allowed to promote a property (at such a price) that is in such a state, particularly when they have a wealth of actionable feedback from people who have stayed there. It is even more crucial in this current environment to ensure the appropriate hygiene measures are in place.

A stunning Hall, amazing dining and sitting room, beautiful location and wonderful memories! The owner was easy to get hold of. The Hall is stylishly decorated, has so much character and had easy access to beach!
