perfect place to relax and go walking and sightsee Dorset
Really enjoyed the comfort of the cottage. Location perfect. The Dorset Trailway is very close. Welcome pack simply great.

Lovley Stay
We enjoyed staying at Orcadia Cottage so much we decided to extend our stay for an extra day to take advantage of the weather. he owners Peter and Fiona left us a generous welcome pack which was the best we have experienced on our travels. We are walkers and enjoyed the variety of walks available in the area, one of the best was a trip to Stourhead where we walked to King Alfred's Tower. We called in at the Fiddleford Inn whilst out walking, the reception was very frosty, suggest you try The Bull along the road where we made to feel very welcome. We hope to return here some time in the future.

Wonderful home from home!!!
We have just returned after a fantastic week in this wonderful cottage. Made welcome by Peter the owner on arrival with a welcome pack which was a lovely gesture. Warm, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped all helped to make our week in Dorset a perfect holiday. The cottage had a homely & loved feeling about it & is a credit to the owners. Situated down a lane in the lovely village of Sturminster Newton which has all you need for your stay. There is a variety of shops full of fresh local produce a couple of pubs, a supermarket and a selection of takeaways if required. Its a lovely place stay to explore such a pretty county. Highly recommended....... thank you!!

Lovely, comfortable Cottage in a good location. Walks straight from the front door or just a short drive to lots of Dorset attractions. Owner very friendly and helpful. Cottage is kitted out to a high spec can't think of anything lacking or missing. Would highly recommend Orcadia Cottage to anyone planning a visit to Dorset.

It was a pleasant experience to be greeted by the owner of the cottage who explained the various things about the cottage. The cottage was very well appointed and you did feel at home. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
