Superb cottage holiday
Wonderful weeks holiday, Andre and Babs were great hosts. Located in the quiet village of Nant-Glas ? but close to the towns of Rhayader and Llandridod Wells the cottage is a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Animals on the farm are various and interesting with our twin girls (9) loving the horses especially. There are many things to see and do in the near (within an hours drive) vicinity, or just to relax on the patio enjoying the fabulous views of the welsh countryside we could not recommend this place enough.

Soul Breaker!
Well where shall I start! Ok if you would like to self isolate for a week, with no shops, pubs or any life within 5 miles, if you like an amazing country sides, forest, river, lake walks, if you like very dark nights with no signs of life except the farm animals, if you like to read a book by the cosy fire, and cook an amazing dinner, if you like the farm life which include 13 dogs, horses, sheep, goat, pigs, chickens etc..., if you like mud and get your car dirty, if you like the unpredictable weather, if you like wearing wallis boots and nothing else, if you like not to rely on the live TV reception and mobile signals (Internet ok but not for steaming), anyway if you like all of this and more, this is the PERFECT cottage for you. God what a fabulous week, we are feeling now SO relaxed. We will be back. The host is amazing and so helpful. Try to visit the Elan Valley amazing. Word of advice, plan your food ahead, and don't go shopping. No freezer, and fridge very small but use your imagination. Good oven, stove, microwave and kitchen equipment. £5 per basket of wood for the fire, but the central heating is very good. Low celling so mind your head. Highly recommended for a total relaxation and soul fixer. It is extremely difficult to find the property, and Sat Nav don't work there, the postcode takes you at least 3 minutes away from the actual property. Plus within How to get there description you mention a red telephone box, it isn't it is a small red post box. And another thing is that the host needs to be contacted 2 days ahead, to fix a time of arrival, which we didn't know.

Great holiday. Great hosts +great dogs. The photos. Online don't tell the true picture of the cottage so much better in reality it's the only place we were sorry to go home. The hosts are like long friends do anything to make stay great The area is full of things to do for all ages Can?t wait to go again. Thanks Andre &Babs. Take care

Andre and Babs are perfect hosts. The cottage is easily an accessible home from home. Love the dogs and being able to bring ours to join them. The views are gorgeous and the peace and quiet is just what is needed. It is situated near amenities and there is easy access to places of interest. As returning visitors we believe it is the perfect place to stay!

Absolutely First Class - You'll not find better!
We spent a glorious week staying at Ty Gwyn - an absolute gem of a country cottage! The lovely welcoming owners obviously work very hard indeed to ensure that their guests want for NOTHING during their stay. The cottage is beautifully appointed and luxuriously equipped, including a cosy inglenook logburner. It is sited on a fabulous little small-holding with amazing views and local walks; for those wishing to venture further afield, there are some very interesting places to visit such as Builth Wells, Hay-on-Wye and Llandindrod Wells whilst the excellent local facilities at Rhayader are within easy reach. The resident animals and pets, who receive the same excellent care as holiday guests, make the stay doubly interesting! We have rented countless country cottages all over UK but Ty Gwyn is by far the best and we would highly recommend that you contact the owners and make your booking now!
