RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Do not use Sykes Cottages
My one experience of Sykes is very poor. We booked a week at Linden Lea in West Bexington Dorset. It had wonderful reviews.
Much of the review content were true but we found that this 5 Star and expensive property
Had a permanent smell of rot in the main bedroom
We had to go out and buy bed linen because the the provided stuff was old and looked as if had been slept in
The hot water does not get hot
The shower is pathetic
The whole place needs maintenance
When I responded to a request to review the property by Sykes their response was curt, and the review was not published.
My advice is to treat Sykes published reviews with suspicion, they are not interested in fact, only profit

Linden Lea is a supremely comfortable and well-equipped bungalow. The two settees in the large living room give ample space for a relaxing read, or listening to music through the superior hi-fi system, or watching TV. The conservatory is brilliant - warm enough for breakfast with a spectacular, uninterrupted view over the channel, and cosy for an evening dinner with its recessed lighting. It is bigger than it looks in the photograph, as is the garden. The kitchen is spacious with a large table for eating and plenty of storage space. Everything is provided, separate washing machine and tumble dryer make light work of laundry.

This was by far the best property we have stayed in; the attention to detail was exceptional.

An impressive holiday property set in an exceptional location. It was incredibly well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout. Life doesn't get much better than being able to relax in a hot tub, sipping a glass of wine whilst watching the sun setting. Sheer bliss!

A perfectly presented holiday home situated on a quiet lane and less than a minutes walk from the beach. All of the rooms were spacious, comfortable and homely and also offered spectacular sea views. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and very clean, as was the rest of the property. We would definitely return for another stay and can't recommend it enough!
