Grimes Cottage is a Grade II listed, terraced cottage in the delightful seaside village of Staithes. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove.
Outside this cottage is a small rear enclosed courtyard with furniture and parking is in a local car park. Grimes Cottage is an ideal base for families who wish to explore the North York Moors National Park, Whitby and Scarborough.

Buyer beware
We had booked and fully paid for this cottage through a small local holiday company for bank holiday weekend. With less than 24 hours to go before arrival our booking was cancelled in favour of someone who was willing to pay more on a National website. The stress and disappointment this has caused has been huge, the girls were devastated and to say I felt let down and stressed by this unethical behaviour is an understatement . I thought I had an agreement as I?d paid in full. After taking the afternoon off work to sort it out, I did manage to find something else, but I?m now very wary of cottage owners promises, let's hope it's a one off. I hope the family who are in Grimes cottage this weekend feel they?ve got what they?ve paid for, it's certainly not their fault
