This detached cottage is situated in the village of Murthly near Dunkeld and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

Stewarts Lodge Cottage is a superb detached cottage situated in the grounds of the owner's home, in the village of Murthly, less than 7 miles from the town of Dunkeld. This cottage sleeps four people and has two king-size double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and a balcony. There's also a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with woodburning stove.

Outside there's ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. Stewarts Lodge Cottage is a wonderful Perthshire base.

Home from home in great location.
We needed a little help finding the place but once the owner had kindly met us and led us to the cottage, everything was perfect. We were blessed with fantastic weather but this cottage, with its heating and log burner would be equally great in winter. There was every comfort that you would find in your own home and all the equipment you could possibly need for self catering. About 10 mins walk away was a well stocked convenience store which also sells papers. There were red squirrels in the garden which were a treat to see. Couldn?t fault the cottage in any way. We enjoyed an excellent meal and pleasant atmosphere at the restaurant also within walking distance. There are plenty of golf courses in the area and would recommend Dunkeld and Birnam, the course is interesting and the views are fabulous but be warned it is hilly!

Fabulous Cottage in a great location
This is a fabulous cottage in a great location. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and has everything you would want for a holiday. It is in a woodland location and you can see Red Squirrels from the cottage plus plenty of bird life too. There is a pub/restaurant within 10 minutes walk and the towns of Dunkeld, Perth and Pitlochry are a few minutes drive away. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will be back.
