Barking dogs
The cottage is very clean and well equipped with good views, and we don't mind the odd dog barking. However the neighbors dogs bark all night. Previous people have complained about it but nothing has been done and this has been since 2017. The neighbor has lots of dogs which run all over the place and we witnessed him abuse the dogs, which we have reported. If you want a quiet peaceful stay, do not stay here.

High Smarber was amazing, a perfect get away for the week. It is an extremely cosy cottage and is very well stocked. A perfect base to explore the Yorkshire Dales. I cannot recommend it highly enough, we will definitely be returning.
