On the ground floor the living accommodation contains a kitchen, dining room and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is free roadside parking on a first come, first served basis and a front, enclosed patio with furniture and BBQ. With the local inn just a short walk away and lovely scenic walking to be enjoyed from the doorstep, Brown Hill Cottage makes a great base for a break in the Yorkshire Dales.

Brown Hill Cottage was a well equipped and very comfortable cottage, with thoughtful and tasteful decor. It's position is ideal for walking and very peaceful. The terrace was a delight to sit on in the late afternoon, early evening sun. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Brown Hill Cottage.

A really beautifully appointed cottage, with so many lovely, homely touches and stylish decor. Had excellent mattress and bedding, and an extraordinarily well equipped kitchen. It's definitely a place we'd be happy to return to and to recommend. It was spotlessly clean too.
