The Snug was exactly the type of cottage I like. I knew as soon as we walked in that there would be no problems; it was spotlessly clean, cosy, warm and welcoming, a lovely place to relax. The location was ideal for walking into Howarth, it was away from busy areas but close enough to access. Howarth is lovely and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay, the proximity of the cottage to the attractions and facilities in the area was excellent. We will definitely return again.

The Snug is a lovely, cosy cottage within walking distance of all the shops. The log burner was great.

Great location, just a stones throw from all of the shops and pubs etc. A very comfortable cottage which has been refurbished to a high standard. Had a cosy fire to snuggle down to in the evening, comfortable beds, was very well equipped and had an efficient cooker. Great value for money.
