Cleanliness issues
The location is great, the property left a lot to be desired. The photos on the official site for this property are misleading and certainly do not prepare you for untidy gardens and filthy property. Owner stated he had spent three hours cleaning - I certainly didn?t see much evidence of this! Full of cobwebs, inches of dust throughout. Filthy kitchen cupboards, oven in dreadful state and didn?t always work. The bathroom was something else entirely - shower left a lot to be desired, mould and dirt on tiles, filthy taps, shower curtain was horrifically stained, taps wouldn?t turn off properly, grime all over bath panel. He stated he used febreeze on bedding if it didn?t look to be used! Towels smelled so bad that used the towels we had taken for dogs as at least they were clean! Bad tempered owner who swore like a trooper! Previous guests had left early due to the state of place but still didn?t do anything about cleaning it up. Such a shame as with a bit of tlc could be great. Stable door to property but couldn?t use as lock broken - front doormat in pieces which meant it was a trip hazard - fell over it a couple of times. The photos attached are just a few examples of how ?clean? it was.

Mrs
What a find! This is a real little gem of a cottage, cosy, clean and welcoming - a real home from home! The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the facilities on offer are excellent value for money. The kids games room is a real boon, as are the laundry facilities. There are so many thoughtful little touches ( a good selection of DVD's, board games and books for all ages) that made this place for us. The cottage itself is located in an area ideal to visit the beautiful seaside towns and villages along the coastline. New Quay has lots to offer Including 'dolphins, porpoises and seals', crabbing off the harbour, fishing trips and a lovely clean, sandy beach. The small seaside coves of Penbryn, Tresaith and Llangrannog are wonderful, true beauty spots. We will certainly be coming back again to stay at the Coach House and will be bringing our extended family to stay in the other two properties on site (also beautifully and thoughtfully presented). Thank you so much for our relaxing and happy stay!

Fantastic. Best dog friendly cottage holiday you could have.
We would highly recommend these cottages to anyone. Our cottage The Coach House had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy. We had a private patio area for the dogs and 2 greens to take the dogs on. Owners Paul & Debbie we're friendly, welcoming and always there to offer advise on places to visit etc. Their laid back attitude made our holiday all the more enjoyable, they welcomed our dogs as much as they did us, we felt very much at ease. Whilst there we visited New Quay, New Port, a local honey farm, Llaganog beach (beautiful) and the local village pub. The location is lush and situated right in the centre of several beaches, villages and towns to visit by car, and then lovely walks to enjoy by foot. We couldn't fault anything and definitely plan to go back there next year.
