Poor Standard of Cleanliness
Negatives: When we arrived the cottage had dogs hairs and dirt on the floor of the kitchen and ground floor. The owner hoovered and mopped when he saw us sweeping up when he delivered the travel cot. The baby's knees and tops of feet were filthy after crawling on the carpet and we found broken glass x 2 and a screw in the dining area which was dangerous to everyone:- babies, animals and bare feet. When reaching for the babies toys under the sofa we found cobwebs and hairs. The shelves on the sideboard were thick with dust as were the leaves on the plant. I emailed the owner on return and hoped for an to apology but none was forthcoming. I then contacted the agency who contacted them on our behalf. The holiday was a xmas present for my daughter and family so this experience was upsetting and potentially very dangerous for the baby. Positives: Good location and south facing patio.

Lovely location
The cottage was easy to find and the owners instructions very clear. The cottage is well equipped although I found the d?cor a little OTT for my personal taste. The bedrooms are comfortable. The cottage is situated just behind the main market place and it is an easy walk to the shops. Think traditional English market town with wonderful bakeries, pubs and retail shops and a small sprinkle of chains. Gated parking means no problems with finding a parking space. Would definitely recommend. Only small quibble was that on a Christmas trip there were absolutely no decorations in the cottage, so we had to pop out for some tinsel - shame!

Had an amazing stay. It is a beautifully furnished house with a modern luxurious feel to it. In a perfect location in a lovely village, with friendly owners, and all at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to friends and would love to come back again!
