Seekings Cottage is a characterful two-storey open plan cottage with dining kitchen/sitting room with a door leading out onto the private patio where guests can relax looking towards the beautiful countryside. Make sure to keep an eye out for 'B' and 'Autumn', the owners' two friendly horses! The large vaulted and beamed bedroom with its king size double bed is situated on the first floor with an en-suite shower and bath. The cottage with raised patio is accessed by some steps and the property is set within the courtyard of the main house. Feel free to explore the fields, woodland and stream which are part of the property or drop into The Masons Arms, a Michelin starred pub just down the road for a pint or a bite to eat (booking advised).
Situated on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, there are many wonderful days out to be enjoyed from the cottage. Enjoy breath-taking walks or drives across the moors and through wooded valleys while nearby Dulverton offers a wonderful Exmoor village welcome with an array of local farm shops and goods. Explore Knightshayes Court; a stylish Victorian mansion with glorious gardens. Alternatively visit bustling Barnstaple, only a 25 minute drive away and explore the stunning expanse of Saunton Sands. A lovely 55 minute drive through the National Park takes you to the beautiful medieval village of Dunster, nestled below Dunster Castle - a National Trust property and a great day out.
