5 star luxury
Otter tarn describes their accommodation as 5 star luxury lodge accommodation, if this is what you are looking for then this is the place for you to stay, we stayed in Toad mire august 2021 all I can say is wow wow wow, this truly exceeded our expectations, pure luxury in the kitchen there is everything you need and more even down to the ice maker in the fridge, the living area huge comfy couch that you can just snuggle into, blankets provided for cold evenings to wrap yourself in, the underfloor heating is fabulous and easy to work, smart tv's in every room, bedrooms have luxurious showers toiletries, huge big comfy beds.
Outside the lodge huge comfortable decking with lovely seating and again blankets for the chilly nights so you can still sit outside under the stars, hot tub is gorgeous and the way the lid opens ensures you are not overlooked, everything is complete luxury inside and out of the lodge.
Toad mire is directly on the lake and not overlooked the peace and quiet is amazing, waking up and looking over the lake wow, if you are looking for a place to recharge then this is the place.
The owners Kath and John from start and booking the accommodation all the way through to the end of the holiday have been amazing, you can tell they truly love their accommodation and so they should, we had a small issue with the hot tub and the bubbles, called Kath and she was there resolving it, totally on hand for anything you needed.
We ordered a shop for the day we arrived this came no issues, and we were enjoying the luxury and the peace so much we did not actually leave the lodge until unfortunately the day we had to leave,? I can?t praise the accommodation and all the team enough, so we booked again for next August 2022 and I cant wait till we return.
