Fantastic find
We loved our stay . The cottage was warm and cosy and well equipped. The location was superb with the easy access to the beach and the atmospheric pub a stones throw away. We enjoyed our coastal path and beach walks and our visits to Lyme Regis, Beer, Sidmouth and Seaton. We would definitely stay here again as the property had everything we needed and it felt very home from home. Thank you .

A lovely cottage in a lovely village
On arrival at 2 smugglers close we were greeted by 2 bottles of wine, tea coffee sugar and biscuits and even milk in the fridge which we thought was a nice touch.
The cottage was very spacious and came equipped with everything you could need to make it a home from home. We took our dog and they even supplied a torch for taking her out at night as its very dark.
We found the half mile walk to the beach ok but it is up and down some steep hills as most of branscombe is. The roads leading to and from the village are single track and take a bit of getting used to. The masons arms is just a two minute walk away for a nice pint or a meal.
There are footpaths all around the village and by the beach there is the SW coastal path leading to Beer and Seaton, which are both lovely. You will find the sea shanty cafe and large car park here and the footpath above is easier to walk than the coastal path.
We had a lovely week here and would recommend the cottage and Branscombe to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet.
