Perfect cottage for our family get away
We have just spent a week in the fabulous Grove cottage with our 11month old baby. This cottage was absolutely perfect for our family get away, as it was warm (so important when you have a baby!), comfortable and provided a cot and high chair. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard and the hot tub was a lovely way to relax on an evening! There's so much to do nearby, we visited Whitby, Robin hoods bay, castle Howard, Rievaulx abbey, Helmsley castle and Eden camp.
The owners were great, warm and welcoming but then left us to it and weren?t intrusive.
Would definitely recommend to any family's with young children wanting a comfy, safe place to stay with lots to do in the surrounding area, and the luxury of a hot tub for grown ups to relax after a busy day.
We couldn?t have asked for a more perfect week :)

?Grove Cottage is one of those little gems that you almost want to keep secret but can't help telling everyone about.?
First impression is "Wow". Everything about the cottage has been designed and maintained to a very high standard, absolutely superb.
Fantastic cottage which was warm, quiet and beautiful. Very easy to get to from the A64. The owners are very friendly, down to earth and approachable, even suggesting that we let them know if the cottage got chilly for my grandson, as they would turn the heating up if we needed it.
The hot tub is an added bonus which was appreciated after days out to the coast, York and Eden Camp. There is a travel cot and highchair available if needed.
The farm shop and cafe is less than 5 minutes walk away and is to be recommended. There are a number of good restaurants and cafes in Malton.
Grove Cottage is definitely number one on our list, and we look forward to making return visits over the next year.

Fantastic
We stayed here for 7 days with a toddler and a 6 month old. The cottage is nicely presented and fully equipped.
We were only out for a few hours at a time due to having a baby and found the cottage a great place to relax. It's in a perfect location for visiting the many attractions of North Yorkshire and we made plenty of trips to Whitby, Scarborough and Pickering.
The hot tub was fantastic and I would highly recommend the farm shop across the road to buy all the ingredients for a full English.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were always available if needed but never intrusive.
Would highly recommend to all.

A real gem
What a great find this cottage was. The location is ideal for exploring the area. The cottage itself is wonderful with a large open plan kitchen/dining/living space and two lovely bedrooms with a snug doubling as a third bedroom. There is the added bonus of a hot tub which is a great way to relax after a day out exploring. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming as was the milk and wine they had in the fridge on arrival. We were all sad to have to leave but will certainly return in the future.
