Rose Cottage is a beautifully renovated 1600s Grade l Listed Devon stone cottage and sits in a lovely, quiet location. Rose Cottage is ideally located 20 minutes from the South Devon Coast and Torbay. It is also 20 minutes from Dartmoor, the best of everything Devon has to offer.
Set in the heart of Ashprington, one of Devon's most magical locations above the Dart Estuary where Bow Creek meets the Dart. Ashprington is formerly part of the Sharpham Estate, a picturesque Devonshire village of stone cottages and houses set in the heart of the South Hams. Three miles downstream from Totnes, five miles upstream from Dittisham and ten miles from Dartmouth.
The beautiful 550 acre Sharpham Vineyard, set between the village and the banks of the Dart, hosts one of the South Hams Venus Cafes and offers wine and cheese tasting. The Vineyard boasts 12000 vines basking in the sun on the south facing slopes and a herd of Jersey cows. The Durant Arms offers a menu of locally sourced Devonshire fayre.
