Very dissapointing
In middle of nowhere, accessed by less than 3 miles of very narrow bendy road. Only 2 bathrooms & 1 shower cubicle, the description says 3 bathrooms. Dangerous steep, narrow, twisted stone stairs, no hand rail. Lounge accommodates 4, 6 if you squeeze 3 to a sofa. Property sleeps 8. No barbecue.

Lovely Quirky Peaceful Cottage
We stayed at the Anchor & Can Cottage near Ross on Wye for New Year. Four large bedrooms (1 twin) beautiful quirky cottage. It has three upstairs double bedrooms (one with a private lounge) and downstairs too singles. There were six of us that stayed (8 on one day) and there was plenty of room. Everything you need including dishwasher, washing machine and two fantastic powerful showers. It really is a beautiful setting. It is a ten minute drive from shops but there is a Morrisons, ALDI, etc in the town, Ross on Wye is lovely. There were a number of staircases two narrow and winding, the other two straight. Jack n Jill bathroom upstairs and wet room down stairs. VERY, VERY quiet we could hear the owl at night. Lovely real fire, you can buy wood and kindling at Morrisons. We took our dog who loved it too (well we think so)! The only thing I would point out there is no mobile signal at all, we had three networks between eight mobile phones and had to drive up the road five minutes to get signal. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but we were on call at work so really impacted on our stay. The wifi is VERY slow too. Also if anyone has mobility issues they may struggle with stairs as even the ground floor bedroom has stairs down to it. The kids loved it and we had a great family time. Lovely place to stay both inside and out and would stay again when not on call ;-)
