Approached via stone steps with a pretty rockery garden to the front, the cottage has an entrance hall and downstairs cloaks/WC. The sitting room has large windows that look out over the valley - the sunsets are stunning - and there is a TV/Freeview and Blu-ray player together with comfortable seating. The kitchen is immaculate, painted cream, with luxe granite work surfaces; well-equipped, it has an electric oven and hob, a second oven/microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
There is a dining area, so families and friends can sit and enjoy a glass of wine, and the cook can have company whilst in the kitchen! The first floor offers two bedrooms, both en-suite, and both having lovely views over the valley. The double bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and hand wash basin. Grosmont is lovely with its local inn, cafes, art gallery and the famous steam railway with Whitby, and the coast, a ten minute drive.
