Review.
My friend and I and our 2 dogs have just spent a lovely weekend at Greenbeck Cottage. I have a heart condition which decided to flare up the day before departure. The cleaner was very kind and allowed us to go into the cottage early as we had been in Coniston since 9:30 as Kay was paddleboarding. We had a wonderful relaxing two days and although I was unable to walk very far we had trips out in the car whilst she walked the dogs and I watched. She really enjoyed the paddleboarding so if you are into water sports give it a go. We lit the lovely fire on our last night even though it wasn't cold just because it made it so cosy. Comfy beds and everything you could need in the kitchen. We took all we needed with us but a small welcome basket with perhaps local biscuits, a small coffe and tea and sugar supply and a bottle of milk in the fridge for those who forget. Although supplies are only a few steps away. We struggled to get a take away meal on Sunday but the Black Bull - where we had lunch on Saturday - were so helpful and Kay took two plates which they loaded up for us with veggie burger, chips and a huge salad. The dogs loved the little garden at the back with the stream which my dog was sad he couldn't get into. We are already planning a return for a longer stay in the summer.
