The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a double, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom and a first-floor cloakroom. Outside there is a rear, terraced garden with furniture, and roadside parking for two cars.

One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. Highchair and travel cot available on request. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

You'll find a shop in less than 2 miles and a pub in 300 yards. 1 Rose Cottage is a charming base for a family break to Dorset. Note: The staircase is steep and unsuitable for those with limited mobility; please be careful.
