Beautiful views from nicely equipped cottage near Whitby.
The cottage is located in a beautiful location overlooking the River Esk next to the Whitby viaduct. The cottage is well equipped, nicely decorated and has parking. It is a lovely place to stay and good value.

The cottage was spacious, clean and light with very good amenities. The location was excellent, next to the tidal river and viaduct with the steam train regularly going by. A really lovely base to come back to. Particularly liked the balcony from the main bedroom.

The cottage was lovely, very clean and comfortable. If you have a dog there are some great walks, there is a cinder track which from the location of the cottage you can walk to Whitby in one direction and Scarborough.

Liked the fact that the cottage had river views from all front windows and the balcony. The cottage was really clean and in a wonderful position right next to the River Esk and under railway viaduct. The wildlife around the area is brilliant - we saw a seal every morning and a heron, and the ducks come straight up to the front door. Sky TV was a bonus.
