Some areas lacking attention and cleanliness
Stayed in this interesting holiday home sept 19. This holiday is more suited to a dog walking holiday really. Now I love dogs and sadly my fury friend is no longer with me and I used to manage kennels but I don?t expect dog hairs under the sofa cushions, slight smell of dog wee, the lower ground furniture to be what looks like a dog bed and the washing machine was last used to wash a very dirty dog bed in a holiday house after it should have been cleaned well throughout before our arrival. THis unfortunately was not the only thing that let the cottage down. An old used razor left on top of the shower, gum on top of a light switch at the top of the stairs. The bathroom and kitchen lacked any blinds. The bathroom did have frosted glass but as most people know you can still see through it. So showering in the evening was not possible and a towel was wedged in the window to try contain some modesty. We were a family with 2 young children 3 and 10m. We have to clean the super super thick dust off the high chair before use. Obviously it has not been used for a long time. The children were expected on the booking yet it was not cleaned prior. Although parking directly outside this end terraced property is prohibited due to road markings, you can still park on the busy road side within eye distance of the house. If you venture out in the car be prepared you may not return to the same spot. The kitchen would benefit from some plastic plates and cups for a more child friendly approach. Lucky we brought our own. Despite this the kitchen was clean and probably my best room in the house. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Wardrobes were not checked as some Trousers were still handing in the master room and a coffee sachet in the other room drawers. The area has some great things to do. Keighley worth valley Railway Eureka children?s museum And Hebden bridge was a beautiful little village/ town for shopping, meal scenic views. Haworth disappointed me slightly as half the shops were closed in the high street and only opened on sat when we were leaving as the cottage runs sat-sat. There was quite a bit of dog poo in the streets ( not to reflect on the property) but to help others thinking of coming to Haworth. Despite all the areas mentioned for owners attention ( to help improve) we had a lovely holiday here. It was quiet and relaxing.

Mr
Excellent cosy cottage. Really warm and snug, 3 real fires all set for use to complement the central heating. A rustic feel yet very clean and comfortable. All facilities considered and very well situated since just a short walk to Haworth with all the amenities and attractions on offer.

How disappointing
The property is in a good location ,and has good access to the sights around the area .This is a quirky property which no doubt has a lot of history ,creaky floors and odd layout .The property is in need of some tender love and a good cleaner to remove the cobwebs and fluff .

Highly recommended
We recently stayed at Daily?s Place and we were more than happy. The cottage is warm and welcoming. It was large enough for 5 adults and our dog ?Ray?. It?s perfectly placed for easy access to the Main Street and the moors. It was a relaxed break and we wouldn?t hesitate to book at Daily?s Place again or to recommend it.

A lovely cottage - highly recommended
A lovely cottage. Warm and homely and combines the quirky features of an old cottage with modern comforts. The wood burning stoves are a real bonus. We loved the cosy lounge and the kitchen is great for family meals round the big table. Very well located for the centre of Haworth - less than 5 mins walk from Main Street. Also easy to park on the street outside. Only slight disappointment that bathroom not quite at the same high standard as the rest of the cottage but perfectly usable.
