Lovely, comfortable base to explain the Moors and Dales from. Great location to explore both the Moors and Dales from. Lots of info on the area in the cottage. Cottage itself was perfect for myself and my two little dogs, with parking right outside the door. Very clean, tidy and comfortable to return to, after long days of walking. I stayed in and cooked each evening, as the kitchen had everything and there is a great farm shop in the next village that had a wide selection of food. Will be returning. Stay55438 2018-11-10
Brilliant holiday cottage We had a brilliant stay at Grove Cottage. It was cosy and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful when we arrived telling us about local eating places and also gave us a lovely welcome pack. Lemon drizzle cake went down a treat with a glass of wine!! There was plenty of information in the cottage about local places to visit. It was a very central and convenient place to stay. gillyflack 2018-07-19
Ideal location for both the Dales and the Moors We had a great stay at Grove Cottage. Ideal location for both the Moors and the Dales. Turning left or right you were spoilt for choice of places to go and wonderful Yorkshire views. There was lots of up to date information in the cottage.
Everyone mentions the Welcome pack and well they might. Very welcoming indeed! The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The great weather topped it off.
Very friendly hosts and we'd certainly recommend Grove Cottage. Brian0081 2018-07-19
A perfect getaway cottage A lovely cosy cottage ideal for a couple. It had everything we needed for a week and we went out for full days every day. Lovely welcome from the owners with a pack of essential food items and wine and delicious lemon cake. A car and willingness to use it on every occasion is however essential as nothing is within walking distance, but the quiet solitude and very comfortable bed more than makes up for this! Plenty to do in the area and we were very lucky with the Yorkshire weather. So thank you, yes we had a really great week. peter a 2018-06-27
Perfect Grove Cottage We stayed at Grove Cottage for a week with my Jack Russell, upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack which included milk, baguette, butter and home made lemon drizzle cake. The cake was scrumptious!!
The location of the cottage proved to be the ideal base for our walking holiday.
The cottage was extremely well presented not to mention well equipped, we made the most of all the facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable together with the large bathroom was superb. When resting weary limbs in the evenings the TV and DVD player proved very welcome, not to mention the nice selection of movies.?Cooking facilities were excellent and we catered for ourselves each evening and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the cottage.?We had a truly lovely time and would love to return in the future and will recommend to friends and family.?
Thank you Jeremy and Judith for making our stay so memorable. jbj402018 2018-04-28
