Beautiful cottage in stunning location.
We decided to book this cottage mainly because of it?s location close to numerous places of interest - Ludlow, Hay on Wye, the black & white trail and various NT properties. Lovely too to wander along the country lanes from the cottage. Westonbury Mill Water Gardens is very close by and well worth a visit. It really does have a feeling of being remote, but with easy access to it. Great communications with the owners after booking and very welcoming on arrival. The inside was spacious and beautifully decorated. For 2 couples you have 2 master bedrooms. We only chose the front bedroom due to the gorgeous beams dividing the room. Lovely big bathroom and kitchen, along with a very handy downstairs loo and laundry room. Plenty of parking out front and lots of outdoor space out back overlooking the orchard. The mini barn was a wonderful feature with it?s ping pong table - makes a great shaded area in the Summer and shelter from the rain if needed without restricting the views over the garden and orchard. The best feature though of this place is the hot tub. It took 3hrs to get it up to temperature, but once there only a few logs per day kept it toasty. Sitting out in the day watching the calves play in the orchard and at night under the stars was brilliant. The only improvements I would make in order to give this place 5 stars would be to have toiletries in the bathroom; an oven glove, tea towel (luckily we?d brought our own which doubled as an oven glove), a non-metal spatula and serving spoon (there was a ladle) in the kitchen. Extra sun loungers in the garden would be nice too as there was only one. A gorgeous cottage that is definitely a haven of relaxation.

Fantastic venue
Brilliant weekend together at a fantastic venue. Just what we wanted, all as advertised. A group of friends booked a weekend away for a birthday in an isolated location. Hosts lovely, no neighbours to worry about. Buy a couple of bags of wood from the hosts and fire up the log fire and the wood burning hot tub (read the instructions, keep topping the wood up every 30 mins with a couple of new logs placed vertically and you'll be like lobsters in a pan within a few hours). We would rebook.

Stunning cottage, outstanding view & surroundings
On arrival we were greeted by a beautiful cottage. Stunning view and it sits on the most beautiful surroundings. Inside the large cottage, the decor is superb. It has everything you could need for a short or long vacation. Ideal for the much needed down time and relaxation. Dogs and children welcome. Great for couples, families and smaller groups. Beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom is a place of bliss, with a fantastic stand alone bath and inviting walk in shower. To top it off, it even has a hot tub........ heaven!!! Would highly recommend.

Amazing views property and area
Very quiet location and ideal for our dogs to be safe but free to run in the attached fields owned by the property landlords. Beautiful views of the orchard and young calves next to us and no houses in sight! The Cottage is superbly decorated with lovely homely touches. Well equipped for all our needs and clean and comfortable. This was a combined Christmas and Wedding present it was fabulous we couldn't have wanted anything better. The local village was quaint with local shops and a couple of pubs. We ate at the super Cider Mill restaurant down the road which was really special. Thanks to Jackie and Glynn who went out of their way to make us welcome.
