This modern, mid terrace, pet friendly cottage can sleep 4 people and is located on the banks of the River Esk next to the railway viaduct just a short walk away from the centre of the historic harbour town of Whitby in North Yorkshire.

Biffins Berth is a cosy, modern, mid-terraced cottage situated near the banks of the River Esk, close to the historic fishing port of Whitby. Overlooking the famous old railway viaduct, under which a steam train passes every day on its way to Whitby, this delightful property boasts comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated open plan living, with a small patio area outside and a large, enclosed, communal garden with children's play equipment. Providing shared use of the indoor swimming pool and a slipway down to the river from the garden, the property also makes an ideal base from which to enjoy the delights of Whitby and the many coastal villages nearby, such as beautiful Robin Hoods Bay and the popular seaside resort of Scarborough.

Was a very nice place in a lovely area, but could have done with a clean everywhere was dusty and the windows weren't very clean but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

This was our third stay at Biffins Berth. It was cold on our visit to Whitby this year, with a north wind and it was lovely to get back to a cosy, warm, comfortable cottage which is fully equipped for just about every need. The outside area is beautiful, you are able to watch the assortment of birds and rabbits feeding outside. The River Esk runs alongside and a heron or two were often there feeding. You also get the stream train chuffing along and get waves from the passengers, many in fancy dress, as it was Whitby Goth Weekend. Our little dog loved the walks. We used the swimming pool this year, which we found excellent.

Biffin Berth is in a lovely location, within walking distance to Whitby and not far to Scarborough and Filey and surrounding areas by car. A peaceful, pleasant holiday enjoyed by myself and husband and our two little dogs.
Mrs Stallard

This was our second stay at Biffins Berth. It is a cosy pleasant cottage with just about everything you need, and in beautiful surroundings. We hope to return next year. Whitby is a great place, very friendly and mostly dog friendly. There are some very nice pubs and wonderful views from the Abbey. Cannot wait to come back.
Mrs Ward

The cottage was beautifully clean right next to a children's playground. Very peacefully. Swimming pool fantastic. Central for visiting most places five minutes from Whitby. Had a fabulous holiday.
