Offering a peaceful haven this lovely property is just a short drive from Exeter Exmouth and Sidmouth. You can enjoy a host of beautiful beaches and coves along the glorious south coast or visit some of the many local attractions including Escot Park Bicton Park Crealy Adventure Park Quad World and Westpoint. You could head to the Jurassic Coast for a spot of fossil hunting.

Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are both within a short driving distance and offer miles of natural beauty rugged grandeur high moorlands and sheltered valleys. There is also a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens in the area including Branscombe Killerton and Compton Castle. On entering this cottage you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting lounge.

This is a relaxing space with exposed beams traditional wood burner (logs included) and TV/DVD. There s a charming dining area and the elegant kitchen is equipped with everything you may need including electric oven and hob dishwasher fridge freezer and microwave. There is also a wet room on the ground floor complete with shower and WC.

Please note that that the stairs to the first floor are very steep and that this floor includes a number of low beams with one directly at the top of the stairs. On the first floor you will find two comfortable traditional bedrooms both with exposed beams. There s a comfy twin and a cosy double with TV and en-suite bathroom complete with hand-held shower and WC.

Located in a separate utility room adjoining the property you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer. Stepping outside you can relax in the garden area with patio lawn and BBQ. The beautiful grounds are a paradise for birds wildlife and humans alike and are a joy to walk around.

In the grounds you will find seven well-stocked fishing lakes providing superb carp and tench fishing for anglers of all ages. (Fishing is included but equipment is not provided) The ponds are located on a gentle sloping valley surrounded by farmland and the beautiful Devon countryside. Parking is available for two cars directly outside the property.
