This property is a great base for the Three Peaks Challenge. Split over a terraced cottage and a detached, ground floor annexe in Ingelton, it can sleep nine people in four bedrooms.

Fountain House is a terraced cottage in Ingleton, with a detached, ground floor annexe at the back of it, behind the courtyard. The main part of the property has two bedrooms, including a king-size double and a super king-size double with a pull-out stacker bed. There is a bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate shower cubicle, plus a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an additional dining space and a woodburner.

In the annexe, there is a sitting room with a kitchenette, a wet room, plus two bedrooms divided by a half screen, which contain adult bunk beds and a single bed with a pull-out stacker, which can be put together to make a double, as well as a sofa bed. Outside, the courtyard has furniture where you can dine alfresco in the summer, plus an external utility with a WC, where you can store bikes and hiking gear. Fountain House is spacious and comfortable, making it a great base for those exploring this wonderful regions and taking on the Three Peaks Challenge!

Great find for family celebration
This cottage was booked as a Christmas present from our twins & we combined it with their birthday celebration. Old, creaky & quirky well presented cottage that served to 9 of us well. Annex did have a problem with the boiler but a phone call to the owner it was sorted it quickly. Kitchen does need some up dating as cupboard doors hanging down & oven temperamental, however it was well stocked with utensils. Really handy having the Coop next door. Great bathroom, showers & wood burner, very cosy after wet walking! Wifi worked well for us all. Only real problem was the parking to empty & pack your cars as double yellow lines outside on a one way system, however parked on The Three Horseshoes car park and put a donation in the box. Ingleton is a village pretty, with plenty of cafes, pubs & Indian restaurants and the Falls are just down the road & there are lots of good walks from the cottage.

A little gem
This was a perfect cottage for our annual family get together, there was 8 of us including two children and two dogs. The additional annexe made this property spacious yet really warm and cosy. The location is fantastic and everything is within walking distance. The Three Horseshoes next door was ideal pub in which to watch the rugby. My best part was climbing Ingleton Falls as it is beautiful yet incredibly close. Thanks Claire for being so helpful and friendly.

Brilliantly presented cottage, right in the heart of Ingleton.
One of the best cottages we have rented in recent years, perfectly located in the centre of Ingleton overlooking the church. Stayed with friends and both bedrooms in the main cottage were beautifully presented and the bathroom can only be described as stunning. The modern central heating and boiler system made the cottage cosy and warm with the added bonus of a real log fire for us traditional types. The annexe makes this perfect for a family break while a fully enclosed courtyard was ideal for our pet dog. The owners Richard and Claire answered all our questions before arrival and it is clear that this cottage is very much a labour of love. Would highly recommend for both a winter and summer break.

Lovely Spacious cottage
2 couples and 3 dogs ! We spent a very happy week here at beginning of July. Plenty of space and well equipped. Lovely bathrooms. Really appreciated the outside laundry room as we are walkers who can get rather muddy at times. Rear courtyard nice and private, ideal for bbq's, would be even better with a hot tub !!! We also struggled with the small temperamental cooker as did a previous reviewer but managed. Ideally situated for walking in the dales and Ingleton is a beautiful village as are all surrounding areas.

lovely big house excellent location
loved the house and the location, the only down sides was the oven and the lighting in the kitchen ,the oven is tiny and it takes twice as long to cook anything,as the house and annex sleeps up to 9 you couldn't cook a family meal it was more like a small caravan oven ,and the lighting is very poor in the kitchen we bought a new bulb for one of the lights but it didn't work .lovely big court yard and the house has everything you need in it but it would also benefit from a large freezer. i would have given 5 stars but for the oven
