Beautiful Cabins
We visited here for my 40th Birthday and I?m so pleased we decided to stay for a week.....From turning up and Ben showing us around our cabin to leaving and having to check out everything was perfect. We stayed in The Lookout cabin that sits right on the front of the site which has perfect views out to the river, you do get people passing and of course looking at the cabins but to be fair this didn?t bother us at all if anything the cabins were quite a conversation starter. The cabin had everything you could possibly need including a dishwasher with tablets and a washing machine with liquid tabs, they have literally thought of everything. When you look on on the website at the pictures of the cabin those pictures really are what the cabins look like. We also visited Hamilton?s which was great, we all got food which we all said was so tasty and they do the best cappuccino?s!!! With it being such a beautiful week weather wise too we walked down and has drinks at The Fleece and The Swan which was great sitting watching the world go by in the sunshine. We visited Bolton Abbey which is a lovely place to go for a walk and it?s only 5 minutes drive although if you do park within their car park it will cost you ?10 so be warned. We visited both York and Leeds which were just under an hour to get there and we used the park and ride once there so that made it even easier. We were home for an hour and booked back to go again.

A weekend is not enough
We stayed in The Lookout for my husband?s birthday. The cabin has everything you can ever need and is dog friendly too. They even provide food bowls for the dogs. The location is stunning and the cabin looks directly onto the river. Although we stayed at a cold time of year, the cabin was warm and cosy. We will definitely return.
