Comfortable cottage in great location
Spent Christmas in this comfortable cosy cottage. Great location near to the town (about 5 minute walk) and close to river and good walks. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with comfortable beds. Generally the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, pans, crockery and glassware, however kitchen utensils were lacking and we had to buy a wooden spoon, potato peeler, egg cups and slice for frying pan. Cleaners only left one toilet roll which wasn't enough for the time we were there and again had to buy more. There was a coffee machine that took pods (yeuch!) and I personally prefer a cafetiere so glad I took one with me. Given the cost of the cottage I was disappointed there wasn't a 'starter pack' for the woodburner. We arrived late and just caught the wood suppliers before they closed for Christmas. Otherwise everything was good and we had a lovely stay. I would recommend.
